This property was extremely rundown on all accounts from the: rickety outdoor stairs that reminded us of the sweatshops that collapsed in Bangledesh, filthy tile and grout, bare electrical outlets, a bed with broken springs and a large depression in the middle, linens that were ostensibly washed but still grubby. The room was steeped in cigarette smoke; the furniture old, broken with torn, cigarette burned upholstery; the smoke alarm was dismantled. We could go on. On the upside, as advertised there was free Wi-Fi and a refrigerator in the room.

Liked: Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was fine, but not in the greatest part of town.
Disliked: This property was extremely rundown on all accounts from the outdoor stairs, the room steeped in cigarette smoke, the old, broken, upholstery torn furniture with cigarette burns, the dismantled smoke alarm. We could go on.

We specifically requested a non-smoking room with a king bed, but arrived to find a thick smell of stale cigarette smoke and later discovered a burn hole in one of our sheets, not to mention, we were placed in a room with two smaller beds instead of a king. We arrived pretty late in the first place, so we checked in, placed our bags in the room and left for a long dinner. When we arrived back, the room was crawling with roaches and it was too late to find another room in the area. I could have anticipated this had we paid $-- at a motel, but the room rate was $--, which is not super expensive, but certainly enough to not have to sleep with roaches. The staff was friendly upon our arrival, but that is really the only positive I can recall. The area seems decent considering the city, but we witnessed more than one apparent drug deal outside of our room, so I would not suggest this place for a solo trip, or families with children. Also, if you have allergy issues, stay away. My husband suffered some sort of severe allergy attack from staying overnight which put a huge damper on the rest of our trip where we stayed at a great bed and breakfast (we're assuming mold, but who knows). Overall, it was not worth the $20 we saved. We chose this one because ALL of the hotels in the area, whether $40 or $120/night had horrible reviews, so if it's an option for you to stay in another city, you should probably consider that option- they are telling the truth.

Liked: The staff was friendly.
Disliked: Roaches everywhere. We arrived fairly late in the afternoon, dropped our bags and went to dinner. When we arrived back at the hotel, it was later at night and the room was crawling with roaches and it was too late to leave. Smoke smell in non-smoking room

Liked: Location Friendly desk clerk and" the maintenance guy who was so willing to help with room problems.
Disliked: Filthy; dilapidated. In a hurry to get a motel near a medical facility I chose this one without seeing the "one star". OMG...I asked myself "what did I get into?".

Liked: The mattress was new. Location convenient to Lanier Lake only good thing to say.
Disliked: So many things were broken: light in the bathroom-had to shower with the door open; tub didn't drain; no remote for the TV and replacement didn't work; hairdryer and outlet by the sink didn't work-GCFI buttons were falling out; a dump should be condemned!

Bad, bad

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Room was in really bad shape, holes in the wall, peeled wallpaper, loose holders in the bathroom. Bed cover looked dirty. The smell was unbearable and the hotel in general was musty. Too pricey for what it is,

Office kept copies of my...

Liked: Leaving to go home and take a hot shower to get rid of germs and feeling of bugs crawling on me.
Disliked: On Friday at 11 a.m. I asked desk clerk if I could leave my car in lot since I had reservation for that night. He verified I had a reservation and would register between 2 and 3 p,m.. When I got back he said he couldn't locate a reservation for me. After 5 minutes of this he said the email just came through. I reserved through Booking, com the previous Monday. Room was filthy, mildew in bathroom and bathtub, no shower curtain (wouldn't have used it anyways), dead bugs on floor, TV and microwave didn't work, two hand towels and one bath towel that felt like they had recently been used and no toilet paper.
