Mixed review
Liked: First and foremost, this property is super convenient to virtually everything of interest in the French Quarter.
Disliked: My husband and I stayed in one of the front bedrooms located on the first floor. The single pane windows, zero insulation and paper thin walls made it possible to hear every word of every conversation taking place on the front porch. Those same folks could hear our TV too so that was fun. There was virtually no dresser storage to be able to unpack our suitcase and the bathroom was so tiny; it was not at all functional.

Such a wonderful find!!
Liked: Love the style and attention to detail. It?s a beautiful building. The courtyard is a lovely spot to sit with a glass of wine. We loved the staff during our stay.
Disliked: While I understand the age and limitations of a building this age, there is a little bit of wear and tear on the old gal. There are no small fridges or ice buckets to chill beverages. Bathrooms are small with limited counter space. We had to change rooms out of the Elvis room as the door frame into the restroom was too short for my husband - it hit him between the eyes!! Probably not a good mix for late evenings and cocktails. But these are minor hiccups, we would stay here again.

Loved the hotel and history...
Liked: Location was far enough away from noisy bourbon but close enough to pop on over to bourbon street, French market, Jackson Square and cafe du monde.
Disliked: Only downside is while they offer onsite parking; it is just a huge driveway so if the driveway is full sometimes they get frustrated with you having them move all the cars to let you out. So this hotel I?d say is more for if you?re planning on parking your car and walking/Lyft/ubering everywhere. We have family and sights we wanted to see outside of the quarter as well and had to keep bothering the poor staff to keep moving cars to let us out. Again; NOT a negative thing, just something to think about if you decide to stay here to be mindful of the staff having to constantly move cars for you. :)

Beautiful historic house
Liked: It's a beautiful historic house right in the thick of the french quarter! Surrounded by shops, restaurants, and within walking distance of all the things you'll want to see and do
Disliked: There is no breakfast offered, which was a let down. The room was quite small for being listed as a "Deluxe" room, it was tight with the large bed and side table.
