Liked: Excellent location and friendly staff
Disliked: Rooms needs updating

A late summer stay at...

Liked: The location of the motel was just a few minutes walk (5-7 mins max) to the shops and restaurants in Downtown Saratoga Springs. It is also very conveniently located next to Congress Park with an entrance to the park just behind the motel. The motel room I was in had more than enough room for myself. The staff of the motel are super pleasant, friendly, and are available at almost any time. Keep in mind that this is a motel, so there are not very many amenities but there is ample parking, the daily night fee is cheaper than most other places, and the WiFi is free. Did I mention how close it is to almost everything there is to do downtown? For the price and location, it can't be beat.
Disliked: Sometimes the WiFi would not work when I would use it at night. I was at the rear of the property so I understand why this was an issue. A WiFi extender close to the rear of the property would solve this issue. This was my only issue that the motel can fix, otherwise it is a good place for a night's sleep.

Liked: Absolutely nothing outside of leaving
Disliked: Found bed bugs in the room, neither night manager or day manager could give me the refund. I am still waiting for the owner to call me, guy is a coward. Door said it was a non smoking room, smelled like cigarettes. Smoke detector was not in the room, pretty sure this is illegal. I would highly recommend no one ever stay here. If you have any complaints the owner will refuse to call you and not give you your money back and will say it is their policy for no refunds however that is not listed anywhere on anything.

An older motel that is...

Liked: Breakfast was okay. Staff is very accommodating
Disliked: Room was very over-heated

Cheap if you just need...

Liked: It is close to Putnam Place. Easy to walk to restaurants. Not expensive but you get what you pay for.
Disliked: The room smelled like animal pee. I saw that a lot of people had animals with them. There was a removable rug in the room that smelled like pee. The corner of the room had a strong urine odor so bad that I almost couldn't sleep. When we got home and unpacked our bags I could smell urine. The pee smell had seeped into all our clothes so we had to wash everything!
