Liked: The hotel appears clean with the exception of the elevator.
Disliked: I rarely write reviews unless they are a 5 star. With that being said I need to write this review so that others don’t get caught in this same dilemma. The night audit woman at the front desk took it very personal when I ask if we could get the online rate,she told us that she could not do that and that I would need to do that online. The online rate was 101.00 and when we tried to show her, she was not interested in facing us as she was very busy with something more pressing on the computer. Imagine our surprise when just seconds later the price on line became 116.00. Of course I’m not saying that this woman was making changes as we were standing there but I managed a Gold Standard Choice Hotel and fired my night audit person for boasting of this same behavior. You may ask yourself why we booked it on booking.com and stayed anyway…..We were pulling a camper in a very bad storm with extremely high winds and were afraid to go one more mile in search of a hotel. She charged us a 50.00 security fee and gave us room 303. The reason that I mention the room number is because the room smells of smoke. I mentioned it to her and she told me that the whole hotel was non smoking, in which case I replied, our room smells of smoke. She made no attempt to offer us a different room.

Disliked: Not enough breakfast choices. Got to the breakfast area about 8:30 and most of the food was gone and was told there was no plan to replenish. We went down the road to a restaurant for breakfast.
