Liked: The staff were very friendly and polite. The rooms were clean and nice. The breakfast was good and a good selection of things.
Disliked: The tv was disappointing it kept on going out, saying the weather was interfering with the signal, but it was clear and sunny outside, not cloudy or anything.

The price of the nightly...

Liked: First of all, KUDOS to the two ladies courtesy staff assisting in servicing the breakfast area. They were smiling, friendly, positive and made us feel VERY WELCOMED!!! The room had several amenities available to us; the beds were very comfortable and made for a good night's sleep! The bathroom also had plenty of towels and products and a shower that no one could complain about.
Disliked: I/We were very satisfied with all the conveniences available to us and for all travellers!!! There was a restarant next door and other types of restaurants nearby if you desired some choices. It was easy to contact a Lyft/Uber driver to take us to our downtown destination ( a short distance away).

Good Value, Great Service, Not...

Liked: This hotel is close to everything on Charlotte Pike. Waffle House right next door as well as the freeway. The room was old and tired, but clean. And holy porkalicious, the continental breakfast had bacon! I haven't seen bacon at an "affordable" hotel since Obama was in office. Way to go Biden! Anyway, the staff was accommodating and friendly, unlike Homestay Suites by the Nashville Airport, where they stole $600 bucks from me when I had to cancel my stay due to a death in the family. DONT STAY THERE!!! This hotel is functional and had a great staff.
Disliked: We noticed an interesting smell in our room. After a few minutes, I became nose blind to it, but I never could identify it. Also, the AC in our room cycled a lot at night, so I was constantly adjusting the covers for the temperature change. Getting in and out of this hotel is a bit of a chore. Due to the proximity to the freeway on and off ramps, if you are pulling a trailer (we had a uhaul trailer), it can take several long minutes to get on the road.
