Disliked: A cold Jimmy Dean Biscuit and Sausage, with a cup of fruit, in a brown paper sack? unacceptable. This place is still using Covid 19 to not serve breakfast. The MOTEL should let people know. Also, the MOTEL attempted to upgrade by painting and adding a little cosmetic surgery. There was still mold, dirt and grim visible all around the room, they attempted to mask it. Also poor air quality, I coughed all night.

Liked: The room was clean. Newer vinyl flooring and bathroom vanity.
Disliked: The bathtub was old and stained

It was surprisingly quiet being...

Liked: We were greeted so warmly beginning our stay on a positive note. I'd requested a bottom floor and forgotten I had asked. Our host mentioned he'd seen our request and we received a bottom floor. We appreciated the extra effort
Disliked: The bare floor was filthy. Simply walking barefooted from the bed to bathroom, the bottom of my feet became black. The bathtub had no anti-skid or mat for inside the tub. There WAS a good grab bar and it was used because we were concerned we'd fall.

Liked: It was easy as a smoker to step right out of room to smoke. And gas station right next to it. The price was reasonable compared to other hotels
Disliked: The pictures showed a pool, it was boarded up. Breakfast was a lunch sack with a Jimmy Dean wrapped sandwich. They was out of stuff for coffee such as creamer, which is why the gas station came in handy. The turn to the hotel is right off a highway pass, very dangerous

It was OK for a...

Liked: The room was recently renovated which seemed nice. The bed was comfortable, and I really appreciate the white comforter even with a small stain on it. The bathroom was well lit and also renovated.
Disliked: The location seemed sketchy. The lobby was nice but a sign on the outside saying no public bathrooms was not welcoming even if needed. The breakfast area was nice but was not set up although we did receive a bagged breakfast that was comparable to others that only offer the same. The tv used only antenna and the signal was awful to non-existent. I was concerned for the wiring as every outlet had a multi-unit adaptor.

Liked: Rooms were clean and adequate for a short stay to sleep and shower?
Disliked: Outdoor areas on the property needed some attention (trash laying around, etc.) While most hotels have lifted strict Covid protocols, this property has continued to bag breakfast portions, instead of offering a continental breakfast; pool wasn?t open; room stocked only with conditioner-no shampoo or lotion (I had to go back to the front desk to request those items for the room)
