Disliked: The room was dirty, we only had 1 set of towels, the bath mat was very frayed. Stains on the chair. No menu in the folder.

A comfortable stay near York

Liked: We chose this property as a stopover on our journey. Although situated in an isolated position, It was conveniently close to York and other places we wished to visit. Our room was a good size and comfortable, with a hot shower and comfy bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner was delicious and Our breakfast was cooked to order, with many other options.

Liked: Only the location.
Disliked: The evening meal was awful. How can you go wrong with fish and chips. The look of it was bad enough.

Disliked: Location in relation to nearby village which could be accessed on foot only by walking on busy high speed road with no pedestrian pavement. Smell of slurry from adjacent farm.
