Our experiences with the hotel enhanced our overall enjoyment of our visit to the Phoenix area.

Liked: The newly renovated hotel facilities were quite attractive, pleasant, and clean. The hotel was well located for the activities my daughter and I enjoy at the start of the day, walking around the lake and hills across from the hotel, in particular. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Self-serve breakfast was available in the downstair breakfast room. The food was plentiful but unremarkable. I was surprised that there were many fewer guests than I expected, given the comfort, attractiveness, location, and relatively low room cost for the hotel, compared to others I had considered.
Disliked: We requested a change in rooms due to a heavy bleach smell when we entered the first room assigned to us. There was no maid service between days, We had to call the desk to get clean, dry towels, which were quickly delivered.
