Liked: The breakfast was pretty good
Disliked: The old rustic design . It was a little creepy. I also didn?t like the confederate statue that was downstairs in lobby.

Liked: Good value for such a fantastic location just 5 minutes walk to downtown Napa. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Clean.
Disliked: A bit rustic is fine, yet the whole place could be much improved with just a little more attention to detail. The mattress sagged so much in the middle that we both kept rolling to the center making for restless nights of sleep. We discovered on the last night that this was the result of the bed frame missing two supports underneath the center of the bed. Just a small detail that could easily be fixed in 5 minutes by adding a piece of wood under the the missing supports or by replacing them altogether. Similarly the mattress was missing fitted sheets, not sure why it was just draped with a flat sheet. Finally if you are a light sleeper, be sure to bring earplugs as the street noise is quite loud through the single-pane windows and the old plumping makes constant running noises (of course these things are to be expected with a rustic and historic building).
