Exceptional

A pleasant stay and would...

Liked: The room was very pleasant with a view of the garden the bed very comfortable. I did think while the en-suite was good it was a little dated with minor things needing attention.
Disliked: The safety deposit book didn’t work which was unexpected, and the rooms could use more draw space. The breakfast service was really good but if you didn’t arrive early I found the plates and the breakfast were not hot.

Liked: The staff were friendly and welcoming, the hotel was just what we needed. The breakfast had a good variety of food in a lovely restaurant.

Liked: Room was lovely and spacious and very clean. Staff were polite.Will come back again and stay for longer. Highly recommended.

Good but let down by...

Disliked: Have to pay for parking which for residents is appalling

Liked: Good location, excellent breakfast.
Disliked: The water from out sink tap rarely got below lukewarm - hardly any cold water.

Hotel is lovely, dog friendly...

Liked: The hotel looked amazing upon arrival and the staff were all lovely and professional . The food was really good.
Disliked: Room 338 dog friendly room wasn’t the best, very worn and definitely needed updating

Amazing Easter Break

Liked: Loved the room. Spacious & nice to relax in.My 2 boys loved the room, as it has bunk beds & a huge bay window with a lovely view.Bathroom was clean & a decent size.Plenty of space in the main bedroom & access to Disney+, bbc iplayer etc on the TV.Breakfast was also very good.Great stay.
Disliked: Nothing, all good.

Enjoyed our stay, especially using...

Liked: The lounge, bar and other ground floor areas had been refurbished and updated so looked lovely and had been decorated to a high standard. The bedroom however, seemed basic and in need of refurbishment/ decorating. It was clean enough but there was marks on a wall, some marks on the thin carpet and the bath panel was sticking out just a slight amount. The bed was comfortable enough but could feel some springs in it. Feels like should have gotten a better room for the price. I do really appreciate the staff leaving chocolates for my mother for her birthday and a glass of free Procecco on arrival. That was a nice touch.
Disliked: See above. Also bottles of water in the room would be a nice touch as only tea and coffee.
