Staff is extremely friendly and helpful; rooms are clean and bed was comfy. I will book again at Castillo Real.
Liked: Wife and I enjoyed our stay.

Good
Liked: Location
Disliked: Booking.com had the room having a garden tub... renovations removed all of the tubs... I paid for a room expecting a tub... plus the lighting in the sink area inadequate

Pleasant
Liked: Good location that was close to the beach and not far from the historic area.
Disliked: We were warned the hotel was under construction with signs posted. There had been new carpeting recently laid throughout the halls on the floor we were staying on. It appeared there had been recent updates to our room in the bathroom. Our room has tile floors but I found quite a bit of hair on the floor. The room's entry door and the bathroom were very dirty from fingerprints and grime. There was a floor lamp in the separate sink and vanity area. It was horrible lighting for make up. There were no towel holders or bars to hang towels. The shower had no where but the floor to place shampoo or soap. On the positive side the room was huge and the king sized bed was very comfortable.

Don’t waste your time
Liked: Very little to like about this place. The location is the only nice feature it offered.
Disliked: The room was very stuffy when you walked in. When you turned on the fan it made the air better but the fan was so loud you had to blast the TV volume to hear it. The WiFi signal was terrible and there were dead spots within the room. First place I ever stayed where the skimped on the towels. They have a parking lot for self parking but did charge for parking.
