Receiving No Responses During Unexpected...
Disliked: My intended stay at Candlewood Suites was unfortunately derailed by an unforeseen flight cancellation. Faced with this unexpected situation, I took immediate steps to manage the cancellation of my reservation in the most responsible manner possible. I reached out to Booking.com's customer service for assistance in contacting the hotel regarding a potential cancellation and refund, hoping for a swift and understanding response.However, my disappointment stemmed not only from the inability to proceed with my stay but significantly from the complete lack of communication from Candlewood Suites. It's important to note that my efforts to contact the hotel extended beyond utilizing Booking.com as a mediator; I personally attempted to communicate directly with the hotel on multiple occasions. Regrettably, these attempts were met with silence, leaving me without guidance or acknowledgment from the hotel.While I am aware of the constraints posed by cancellation policies, the absence of any form of communication from Candlewood Suites is disconcerting. It was my expectation that, despite the circumstances, there would be a basic level of responsiveness to address the situation at hand.Choosing Candlewood Suites was a decision influenced by the prospect of enjoying their reputed hospitality and amenities. However, the reality of being entirely overlooked in my attempts to resolve an unexpected issue has significantly tainted my perception of their guest service standards.
