Nice small hotel with perfect...

Liked: For NYC a large room with good storage space. A nice small hotel with outside backyard as well as outdoor area in front and on the rooftop at 19 floor with a nice view. A little bar and convenience store. Free coffee/tea in the morning in the bar. The street is indeed the "flower street" with a lot of nice flower shops and some small hotels. Very quite (we had a room to the back and heard absolutely nothing in the nights from the streets). A convenient subway station at the corner of the street, very easy to get around (nowadays, you can just tap your mobile phone to get ticket to the subway - very easy). Penn Station with trains to the airport is just 5-7 min. walk away, also very convenient. Nice with secure luggage storage at arrival and departure.
Disliked: Homeless sleeping in the street close to the subway, but harmless. We asked for coffee/tea for the room, as this normally is for free, if there is a coffee machine, but we paid a lot of money for it. A bottle of beer in the bar costs 10 USD - but guess this is normal NYC prices. We could not get the air condition panel to work, but it might have been not functioning because it was March/April. But the temperature was perfect in the room and good ventilation, though we were 3 adults.
