Loved this hotel (so glad we chose it instead of a larger chain hotel). Staff are lovely, helpful and professional. Breakfast is to die for (one of the best), with loads of choice, cooked to order, with fresh ingredients. The hotel has been thoughtfully designed (Shaker style bedrooms), modern communal areas and is light and airy and very good value. We stayed in a double room, but the superior rooms and caravans would probably be worth treating yourself to. Close to 'downtown' Bristol (theatres, shopping quarter, harbourside, restaurants and bars).

Liked: Everything - lots of Shaker style hanging pegs for clothes; comfy bed; kettle, tea & coffee and a delicious breakfast.
Disliked: If I was being very picky, I'd say that the bathroom is tiny and lacks shelves for storing toiletries and needs a better light over the mirror.

Great central guesthouse Bristol city...

Liked: Stylish, central, clean. Would definitely stay again.
Disliked: Was glad if the 10pm curfew as the noise at pub outside would have been disturbing!

Passable

Liked: Location
Disliked: Broken glass down the side of the bed, no bed side table or bed side lights. Only the main room light. Kept up from 2am - 8.30 both nights we stayed from a couple either a floor below or 2 floors below bonking the whole time. Heard absolutely everything and the room got stupidly hot with the windows shut to drown it out. Fire alarm also went off at 5.30am - surely it can't be planned at this time? Waited for ages at the entrance for someone to let us in - whilst ringing the doorbell, barely any signs of staff. More a hotel than a guesthouse.

Loved it would definately book...

Liked: We stayed in the airstream caravan which was great. The location was really nice, great area and near to good pubs and shops. They had great facilities. Very quiet and lovely accommodation.
Disliked: It was lovely I had emailed to say I was a NHS worker for the discount but did not get a reply as it was expensive. It would have been nice to have a some chairs and a table to sit outside the caravans. I must say though it was really lovely place to stay.

Superb

Liked: The staff was really welcoming, polite and available for our need. Cleanliness of the property was exceptional, both in the room and in the common spaces. Located in the Old City of Bristol, this is the perfect stay for a weekend away with friends. Highly recommended!
Disliked: Some nights there was some noise from the road cleaning and some other costumers chatting in the courtyard.
