Great value for money

Liked: Great value for money, we were relocated to another accomodation which I was initially frustrated about, but as I was told when I called up, the location was perfect for travelling into Middlesbrough during the busy period for Radio One Big Weekend. We had more room than initially expected so we all had a room each, rooms were spacious and well equiped, with towels waiting on arrival. Kitchen and dining area again had everything we needed. Barry kindly offered to drive us from Tees Valley to the venue as the Shuttle Bus had sold out by the time we had decided who was driving, and let us park there.
Disliked: Windows let in an awful wind noise which woke one of us up at 6am as if the window wasnt quite sealed properly. I moved one of the beds as I dropped my phone down the side and there was a kids toy and what looked like paint chippings all over the floor. Also had to get rid of a small spider nest in one of the rooms.

Student level accommodation in need...

Liked: Location was out of town, but in reasonable walking distance. The bus service into town was amazing, though - every 10 mins or so, and 2 choices of route. The kitchen was good, with reasonable facilities, and it had plenty of space. It was cosy and warm, and nice and quiet.
Disliked: Whilst the kitchen was clean, the bathroom and lounge left a lot to be desired - especially the stomach churning state of the lounge carpet and the entrance to the property. I did send photos to the landlord, so it may be improved by now - I did not get a reply! There were certain health and safety issues too, which I feel should be addressed. If you have children or are getting on a bit, I would give it a miss, to be honest. I would best describe it as student level accommodation - basic, grubby, but sort of OKish if you don't mind the state of carpets etc..
