It was a peaceful stay...

Liked: Location is central. Easy to access many iconic tourist attractions. The hotel was clean. Best of all we got an early check in because we had arrived earlier than the check in time and were treated to cups of tea and coffee while waiting.
Disliked: The bathroom water drainage bad. The fridge was not cooling. At least a free bottle of water should be kept in the rooms as part of daily essentials.

It was wonderful for what...

Liked: The location in Notting Hill was fabulous! The neighborhood was beautiful! The staff were very kind and helpful!
Disliked: I didn’t realize there wasn’t sufficient towels, and no shower mat at all until I was already in the shower, I should’ve asked for more towels.

Convenient for a sole traveller...

Liked: The hotel is close to Notting Hill Gate tube station - it's maybe 5 to 10 min walk away. Location was the primary attribute for me - I came in from Stansted and it was easy via Liverpool Street station.
Disliked: The continental breakfast is basic but adequate. Unlimited teas and coffees, cheese and ham, toast, cereal. Everything you would expect a breakfast to have. But still basic.

Wonderful location and staff. The...

Liked: Location was wonderful, at a beautiful part of London. The staff were very kind and helpful. As a lone traveler, I felt very comfortable.
Disliked: The room and the bathroom were a bit small, but I guess that was expected for a single room. Maybe the place of the furniture around the room could have been a bit better to make it fit more.

Disliked: It’s a lovely building but little run down. Bathrooms have been refurbished but rooms could do with a refreshNo elevators so had to lug the bags up but staff was helpful
