Liked: Situated between the old city (many tourists) and the center most appreciated by locals it is a very good starting point to explore the town. Sufficient parking space nearby. Very good breakfast! Friendly and homey ambience.

We would stay at the...
Liked: The location was great. The owner of the residence was friendly, helpful and terrific! He was available and was welcoming.
Disliked: It's always nice to have your own bathroom. We needed to share, but there was really no problem at all.

Good location but difficult to...
Liked: Close to Old Quebec.
Disliked: Free parking is only available if you are extremely lucky and only in the evenings. No check-in before 5 p.m. and host not available before then. Without help, however, it is impossible to find affordable parking in the neighbourhood. We arrived in Quebec arround lunchtime and had to park several blocks away in an expensive parking garage. When we tried to move the car before check-in to one of the few awailable free parking spaces in the street they were gone by the time we got there and we had to pay again for on-street parking.

Would absolutely stay here again....
Liked: The B&B was quaint. We had a room with a private bathroom and it was great. The owner was so nice and breakfast he provided was a great start to the day! The location was perfect for what we wanted - everything was in walking distance and the B&B was easy to find off the main road.
Disliked: I would have preferred check in time to be earlier than 5pm. This can't be changed but no parking made the experience somewhat stressful since we weren't from the city and didn't know where to go. The room we stayed in needs a couple upgrades (style was great) such as crack filling on the walls.

1st time visit to Quebec...
Liked: My friend and I rented 2 beds in room. The location was great, the main bed was comfortable, bathroom is very spacious and well laid out.
Disliked: The 2nd bed which was a converted futon was very uncomfortable, my friend noticed the bathroom was not initially clean when we were shown around after checking in (cups available on counter were not cleaned, cluttered counter had dust and hairs between objects), while out for the day our room was entered and one of the suitcases was moved, difficult as guest to access kitchen to make coffee or tea as there was a lot of clutter and no clear direction from our host to freely access this area. 1st day breakfast had room temperature pancakes that were chewy. 2nd day was better and 3rd day was best. 5pm checkin time was difficult, no on site parking and on street is very hard due to restrictions.

Liked: The host is an amazingly friendly and interesting person, special thanks to him for the talks, travel advice and generous breakfasts. The place is very conveniently located - there are grocery stores and restaurants nearby and it's a 10/15-minute walk to the Old City wall. The room is pretty and spacious and the whole experience was very warm and home-like.
