Liked: If I had to pick one thing, it would be that there was plenty of parking available, due to only having one other car in the lot, besides my own.
Disliked: First and foremost, the “host” for the property.Baymont should be mortified that this person was representing their property. Not only did she have the appearance of a teenager that had just gotten up out of bed and was annoyed that you were speaking to her, but she was obnoxious, uninformed, unprofessional, and had zero common sense and even less book sense. She confirmed this to be accurate.We were on our way to a family member’s funeral, in Springfield. Checked in, she asked what brought us to town, we said a funeral, she laughed. Not a good start, but I looked at her until she stopped grinning about it. How rude. Who in the world does that?My son went to take a quick shower while I brought in my elderly mother’s oxygen machine and luggage, only to get into the room and realize that there is no hot water for his shower. I was unable to get the wheelchair past the main entry door and it would not go into the restroom, nor could I get the average sized wheelchair near the bed. This is not a handicapped accessible room, but typically we have never needed one as it’s just wheeling the chair to the two areas that are needed. I went to the front desk to inquire about another room. I was denied because they were already booked. There were only two cars in the parking lot and not another soul in the building that we had passed or heard, let alone that it was an hour after their typical check in. When denied the ability to move to a different room, I simply said that this would not work because I have to be able to get my mother to the bed and the restroom. I had to jump through hoops to get the money refunded back to me so that we could go elsewhere.My sister, who had her own room was also denied a refund and this is where the rudeness of the host really was able to shine. My sister who is partially physically disabled had driven to Springfield with us, was also unable to use her room, but was denied a refund.

Nice clean, comfortable hotel.

Liked: It was comfortable, clean hotel.
Disliked: The breakfast area was inadequate. There were only a few tables for the number of rooms. It was very cramped. And really - powdered creamer. Can you not use real cream and there was no decaf coffee!!!!!!!!! For such a nice hotel this was a disappointment.

Disappointing

Disliked: Small beds for queen and room small for price.

It worked for the two...

Disliked: Very outdated. The thermostat did not work on either rooms air conditioners. The rooms were so hot but reading as 40 degrees. The plugs are so worn that the lamps would not make connection to get electricity. There was no elevator. Breakfast was terrible. Sausage links tasted like dried up dog treats.
