Liked: Location was cool and staff was pretty nice.
Disliked: The fact that I got charged for a night I didn't stay due to 2 reasons. 1 being the people next to me being on speaker phone all night while standing at the door attaching the rooms. 2 I had a medical emergency that made me have to leave. I still wouldn't have stayed without the medical issue, I'm not paying to be kept up all night. Why have connecting doors to begin with? If it's a code then insulate it better. People go on vacation to be refreshed from stupid bs. Not get drained further. Also, I did notify the desk I'd be leaving early and the room was available. Never got responses about getting a refund for the night I didn't stay. Horrible customer service, but expected for a small town in the north like that. Also, as a Maintenance Mechanic I was appalled at the lack of quality in this facilities upkeep. Drywall damage from overly humid windows leaking in saod area for long time, ceiling tiles not replaced from leaks, terrible wall paper repairs. I could go on...Simply put, I'll never stay at another hotel again. It's been years since I have and decided to let my hair down, big mistake. I'd rather sleep in a cold car.

Poor

Disliked: The HV/AC in the room woke us every time the fan turned on. We did not get much sleep. This should have been remedied thru a daily maintenance check to assure all rooms are in the best condition. We told the staff and they said "Sorry" .

Liked: The breakfast we did not participate, we wanted to head home ahead of the storm.
Disliked: Wish we could have gotten our 1 night refunded because of our shortened stay, but it was my fault for booking thru a third party.

Overall good stay. Friendly staff.

Liked: Great staff. Room was clean and well stocked. Only issue was the pool. It was a little dirty and hot tub was working weird. Overall great stay.Love the remodel.
