Disliked: After we arrived, we had to pay for the hotel again because, according to the manager, no payment was made by Booking, even though we had already paid for the accommodation six months in advance. Three months later we still haven't received a refund and the manager had no interest in taking action here. We also didn't receive the breakfast, which we paid for twice, because no breakfast was offered. When we got into the room we were very disappointed. It's clear that you can't expect much at this price, but that's not possible. The furniture was ancient and the furnishings were very dilapidated and dirty. There was a coffee maker and associated coffee in the room. The coffee was moldy and we threw it away. In the bathroom only the water inlet for the bathtub worked but the shower head didn't work. We therefore had to help ourselves with a washcloth. We shouldn't have looked out the window because we saw that there was a lot of blood hanging on the curtains, which was absolutely disgusting. If we hadn't already been so exhausted from the long journey, we would have looked for another hotel. We could hardly sleep because it was very noisy and doors were constantly being slammed and there was a lot of activity in the hallway. We were in America for three weeks and had several accommodations but this was by far the most disgusting and unfriendly hotel we had. Therefore, our recommendation is not to book the accommodation even for one night!Since we are also very disappointed with Booking because we still haven't received our double payment back, we will now hand the matter over to our lawyer and will no longer book through Booking.
