Wonderful, relaxing break in a...

Liked: Lovely, clean and very comfortable bedroom. Fab shower with really nice toiletries. Amazing breakfast, between us we had the full English, haddock, spinach and poached eggs, and the fantastic porridge with whiskey and honey - all were excellent. Cleo and Leigh were great hosts - friendly, welcoming and helpful.We will definitely be back.

It’s worth staying here, even...

Liked: The property is very well presented. It is decorated tastefully and maintained to a high standard. There were lots of thoughtful little touches, for example the cups for tea and coffee were not just standard white mugs, they were big tea cups. There was a selection of different teas and coffees along with some biscuits and bottles of water. Fresh milk was also supplied, along with a small mini bar (extra charge for the mini bar) The bed was comfortable and the hotel and surrounding area was lovely and quiet! The breakfast was exceptional! It has to be hands down, THE best breakfast we have ever had in a B&B or hotel.

Liked: Leigh and Cleo were excellent hosts, they were there to greet us on arrival, extremely friendly and very helpful throughout the stay.The breakfast was outstanding using all locally sourced produce. We will definitely be using the hotel again.

Liked: The owners were really friendly. Food was really good, town was 8 minutes walk and 10 minutes to the train station.
