Exceptional

Very nice place but really...

Liked: Actually quiet for location next to busy highway. Room comfortable and clean.
Disliked: Not eco-conscious at all. Styrofoam plates, individual shampoos and body products. I thought California required you use dispensers as opposed to so many little plastic bottles.

Liked: good hotel in a good place, near shopping outlet and restaurants. good breakfast.

Liked: Great place for quiet sleep. Friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: Nothing. All was good with no issues.

There is another Holiday Inn...

Liked: Facilities looked pleasant and clean.
Disliked: Employees play the music Very loud in the lobby. It was quite loud in our upstairs room. The bass was pounding on the walls. I asked the front desk if they turned it down at night, and they told me they turned it down at 7:00. It was still playing at 7:30, so I called the front desk and then they finally turned it down.The walls are pretty thin at this facility. In our room, we could hear a lot of the noise from the bathroom next door. Flushing, shower, urinating, etc. Overall a pretty loud place. Lots of noise from the hallways and the lobby.I was awakened twice by a loud voice from a young child in the lobby between 1:00 AM and 1:30 AM. This seemed strange that someone so young would be in the lobby that late.The next morning at about 6:15 AM, I was in the lobby, when a female toddler was yelling "I need you Mommy, I need you Mommy" at the front desk clerk. This went on for a while before they disappeared down the hall.When I checked out, I was told they could not give me a receipt. I have stayed in many hotels and many Holiday Innsin my life and I have never been told that that I could not have a receipt. I have used Booking.com, Priceline, Hotels.com, etc., and have always gotten a receipt. They told me because I used Booking.com, Holiday Inn does not give receipts. When I checked in they wanted to see my drivers license, and they scanned my credit card so they could charge me for incidentals. Not having a receipt, I sure hope no 'Incidentals' show up later which has happened to me before.

Liked: Location and staff were great. Alot if meal options around property.
Disliked: The hot tub and pool were very cold even when we had the jets going for a while. And the amount of chlorine was excessive. Made my son and my eyes burn and we were both coughing.
