Good
Liked: Good location.
Disliked: Asked for fresh towels and they never came. Dirty hallways. Found out last day that the next week the hotel was being torn down and to be rebuilt. Probably the reason we received minimal service.

It was OK
Liked: There was no parking, if you plan to travel here, please do not rent a car, city can be roamed by foot because the location is great or there is a train 1 block away. Had to spend additional ~60$ for parking
Disliked: The lack of parking was inconvenient. Also, the elevator made me think it was going to drop. And the showers were a bit uncomfortable, probably because the building is old.

Disappointing at best
Liked: the room was clean and the staff polite. it is close to restaurants and public transport with a station across the road
Disliked: Small beds, very noisy environment we could hear the people on the floor above herding cattle is was that noisy at times, the windows let all the the street noise through, there are a lot of people living in the park nearby, some with issues that made moving about at night interesting. there may have been better rooms we didn't see them.

Pretty cool , clean place...
Liked: The front desk guy was very nice . Nice and rustic place. Super clean room . Kinda tiny but clean. Good location, close to pretty much all the places you want to see in Montreal.
Disliked: While I was showering 😂 the fire alarm went off 😂 I was naked, wet almost getting ready to run 🏃 and than I realised it was only in my room. So , because of the steam coming out of the shower the fire alarm kicked off . It’s not a complaint actually, it’s just a suggestion to that thing fixed for the next guests .

Liked: Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The worst thing was noise coming from street due to poor window noise isolation. Had to listen to the street traffic all night and no good sleep because of that. Room was just ok.

Great location. No frills hotel.
Liked: The location is great. The hotel is directly opposite the metro and 4 minutes walk from the bus station. Easy to catch the 747 bus from the airport to the bus station (turn left out of bus station, then first left to the hotel). The lady on reception spoke excellent English and couldn't have been more helpful. There is also a fabulous cafe (L'Oeufrier, Atateken) a 5 minute walk from the hotel, serving gigantic portions of excellent food.
Disliked: Small room overfilled with large items of furniture. Very little space for our 2 large suitcases.
