Wanted a deluxe but got...

Liked: Pool and location
Disliked: Did not get the room we reserved and were not refunded the money

Hidden dog fees. Small rooms....

Liked: Dog friendly. Only two floors. Close area for dog to do her business.
Disliked: The dog fee was not clearly listed. Small rooms. Breakfast is not very good. Pool was too cold.

Surprised how great it was.

Liked: AmericInn’s are usually dumps. Let’s be honest. This was the opposite. The care and kindness and work the management and staff put in was phenomenal! They were all about helping and cleaning. Nice job
Disliked: Need a TV in the Lobby area that is Larger. Only because we wanted to all watch a game. But they did spend a lot of time trying to get the small one to work. That was nice of them.

Worst customer service ever

Liked: Absolutely nothing everything was bad customer service was horrible disrespectful
Disliked: The front desk manager told me I was getting my refund for security deposit for damages if anything was done and never returned the money stating that somebody was smoking in the room, although we had my grandkids which you have asthma and none of us smoke cigarettes the facility smell like marijuana and nobody smoke in this room, so I am fighting for my money back he stole my money for a $70 room. He charged me $250.

Liked: The cleanliness and quality of the stay was most enjoyable. Some of the amenities included free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a swimming pool. The room was large and equipped with not only a mini fridge but also a microwave. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on at a hotel. The whole experience felt luxurious without the expensive price of a luxury stay. This location has a new patron every time I come to the Saugatuck area. Also they are pet friendly. There is a small pet fee of 35$ per day but it was very reasonable. Hopefully they add a dog park but if not that's okay because 6-8 minutes away is a dog park.
Disliked: When my husband asked for a second blanket, they just handed him what looked like a sheet. For breakfast, he got there around 830am (mind you, it's still about a half hour to an hour left of breakfast) and he Said it was slim pickin' so probably try to get breakfast right at 6am.
