Liked: I liked the design of the room from pictures and in person. The lighting in the room was unique and different. The Motel was close to where we needed to be. Has so much potential to be a very nice place to choose from many Motels/Hotels.Parking was visible from the windows. Was a Quiet evening there.
Disliked: We had ordered 2 rooms and they both were up the stairs close by each other perfectly, 1 with a king bedroom and 1 with 2 queen beds room. Both rooms ordered we had inspected. Both of the rooms had a very bad odor and smell to them. Musky and even a urine smell in the 2 queen beds room. The table was not clean in the 2 queen beds room. The smoke alarm also kept beeping through the whole time while being in the 2 queen beds room. Both of the rooms had no tub plug to have a bath so used a wash rag to plug the tubs. The King room had curtains pulled off and hanging incorrectly, The fridge was a full-size fridge, but rust on the outside of it made it look unappealing but it worked nicely. We had asked about breakfast and got chuckled at and seen in the morning it was a sad breakfast of toast, 2 thawed slightly frozen waffles, coffee or juice. We almost thought maybe THAT was possibly someones breakfast right there and didn't want to intrude. Ended up going to Ihop Restaurant and probably could have paid the same amount from a restaurant towards a Motel/Hotel honestly. Great morning after a nice breakfast to start the day with the restaurant nearby. Not for the breakfast but mainly because of the musky sour odor and smoke alarm, curtains coming off, the rust on fridge, and dried food spills on a table. We know that the issues from flu and such are around to be careful with and to not want to have breakfast items out for people at times, We do know that brown bag breakfast has been given or offered to so MANY Motels/Hotels to make and could be an idea for here if needed. Items like a breakfast bar, juice, fruit items, a muffin, or even self-serve coffee. We travel a lot, to work and family, know to be careful of the known or even unknown illnesses and were even shared from another property, told that it is a selective choice for the Properties because of funds.
