Location was scenic and quaint....

Liked: Clean, adequate, quiet (it was off season).
Disliked: Not one objection.

Liked: Price for tiny cabin was fine. Location was as expected. Relatively quiet area back from rte 1.
Disliked: The worst part was the smell! Yes it is dog friendly so one can expect some aroma, but to douse the room with some air freshener to the point that we had to sleep with the windows open and then flee at dawn was a bit much! That of course shaded my whole experience. We have had our dog with us in so many places, but never like this one.

We had two wonderful stays...

Liked: The Anchorage Inn and Cottages was lovely. We first stayed in July. We had rented through VRBO a home in a neighboring town. The home turned out to be dirty and we could not stay. My husband has health issues and he could not stay in a home with horrible air quality and dirt. We found the Anchorage had availability for us, our family and our family dog. The rooms were spotless. Staff was amazing. They were sympathetic to our situation and they saved our vacation. We stayed one night in late September while visiting our daughter at UNH in Durham, NH. Anchorage will be our new go to place when we visit this area of NH and Maine.
Disliked: The only thing they may want to add are some umbrellas near the grilling area. In July we grilled one afternoon and the shaded areas to sit and eat were filled. The benches near the grill had full sun. Otherwise the place in perfect.

Exceptional

Liked: Property is very well maintained. Room very clean and looked newly renovated. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was great! We would definitely return.
