American Guest House is housed in one of only two roll-houses in the historic Kalorama-Dupont Circle Triangle District. The four-story bed and breakfast features 12 rooms all with private bathrooms free Wi-Fi and upscale bath products. Guests start the day with a breakfast of made-to-order eggs breads fruit daily specials and other selections. Later they can nibble on cookies with coffee and tea throughout the day. The property also makes a stocked dining room refrigerator available. Guests are welcome to borrow a book from the library. Off-site parking is available. American Guest House sits within a mix of historical mansions restaurants art galleries and embassies. It's within a 10-minute walk of the Dupont Circle Metro station and one mile from both the White House and the National Zoo. It DOES NOT worse the...

Liked: I liked location, it wasn't far from the place I needed to go for my business.
Disliked: First of all they have VERY BAD customer service, person who answer the phone was mean and rude (Lucia Rosan), there are nobody at the front desk ever. Information about facility is not accurate. Breakfast was nothing to what was promised. It DOES NOT worth the money, could find much better place.

We enjoyed the neighborhood and...

Liked: The bed was like a cloud; the overall decor and architecture was like stepping back in time.
Disliked: There needs to be two chairs in the room when you know a couple has booked.
