Enjoyable and quiet

Liked: Friendly staff Nice breakfast

tub sealed the deal:)

Liked: I wanted a nice little staycation, honestly, the fact they had jacuzzi tubs was all i cared about at first, because our bathtub is super small, and as a large person, I can?t comfortably get in it, and it?s hard to get out because of my mobility issues. The website and the description both on booking.com and the direct website made the deluxe queen room seem huge, and I was super disappointed when we got in the room and it was super tiny, I had envisioned by the description two rooms, with a bit of an ability to sprawl, but no, not really. At first, I felt like this was not a 200 dollar experience, and was super disappointed, but the little space and the personal touches won me over. I loved that the key to getting in the front door was a heart shape at the end, and I loved that all the windows were frosted, and let in a lot of light, but was super private feeling, I really appreciate they had a fan by the bed, as I get super hot, super easily and we had forgotten to pack my fan. I appreciated the little downstairs ?library nook? with movies you could borrow, and books you could borrow, and I super appreciated they left silverware and plates and cups for guests, should you order food from any of the many places that delivered, so you didn?t have to eat out of to go containers. They put a very nice informational print out about the room and the place in the binder in your room, I was pleasantly surprised to see a little blue journal by the bedside, so you could write down thoughts about your stay. And read other guests experiences. I loved the fact you could wake up to a nice little refreshment tray, right outside your door. I chose hot tea, and James chose orange juice. The bath salts were wonderful and smelled so so, so good. I soaked for a long time and smelled super great after my soak.
Disliked: I did feel the tub had some areas that didn?t get cleaned, as some spots had this scuzzy film feeling that would wipe away when rubbed. But overall it was very clean.there's several cracks in the walls management shouldtend to, one right at the top of the stairs is super unslightly, There?s a bunch of knobs in the tub and no instructions for what they do, a little hand out would have been nice. Sure you can dial 711 and ask the innkeeper on duty, but you shouldn?t have to. The website lists there?s a garden but we were never told about it, or shown it. I wanted to ask about it in the morning before check out, but everyone there who would have been available to ask was busy stripping rooms. And I frankly forgot to ask. The reason I chose the queen deluxe room was the website and booking.com made it seem like it was the only room with a jacuzzi tub, which at the beginning of my review,I said was the whole reason I was doing a staycation, but 7 of the 10 rooms had jacuzzi tubs, it?s just only the deluxe queen had a 2 person tub. They put the complimentary brandy away early, breakfast choices was super limited, supposedly there was supposed to be 15 things to choose from The ?fully stocked? mini fridge wasn?t even close, it had 4 soda?s and in the freezer compartment 4 beers. It said guests could store their own drinks and food in the fridge, and the beer wasn?t labeled as personal or not, so we did not take any beer. On a busy night like I assume Valentine's day would be, it?s a bit of a sloppy oversite to only have 4 soda?s and 1 water for your guests. My other thought is, they have a very steep set of stairs, just inches from where you step out of the hallway bathroom, and it would only take a guest a momentary lapse of attention to have a guest fall down the stairs, that ?s not super safe.
