Liked: The location is very central and easily accessible. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, honestly what saved it for me was the staff. The breakfast was minimal but enjoyable. The cleaning was mostly good and the water pressure was also good.
Disliked: The photos make the place look much nicer than it is. It's a very old building with paper thin walls which is noisy in the night and very narrow hallways which is very awkward with luggage. Some of the room doors overlap each other, so if the next room had their room door open, because their door opened out, not in, it would fully block our room door which was awkward if we were all coming/going at the same time. The lift was also miniscule, only enough room for 1 person and 1 cabin case or 2 people and no luggage. The lift doesn't stop on the 1st floor at all. For the 2nd and 3rd floors the lift stops midway up the stairs and is not signposted that way, so my mum almost fell down the stairs as she had backed out of the lift thinking it was a normal floor until she felt the edge of the step and I grabbed her so she wouldn't fall. Same thing between 3rd and 4th floors. The rooms were very small so that you had to do a shimmy to sit comfortably on the toilet and the sink was practically in your face. The cleaning was mostly good except the floor hadn't been hoovered, it was very bitty and there was dried paint in the bathtub.

A hassle-free and comfortable experience

Liked: I had a smooth and pleasant stay at this hotel. Check-in and check-out were on time with no issues. The room was comfortable and felt secure, and the housekeeping service, especially towel replacement, was consistent and tidy. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly—they even provided a luggage scale and let me store my bags after checkout, which I really appreciated. Overall, a hassle-free and comfortable experience.
Disliked: The only downside was the noise—there was little to no soundproofing, and I could hear people snoring in the neighbouring rooms.
