Liked: Sweet place for one or two people. Convenient location for the Kitsilano neighborhood: within walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Public transportation a block away and easy to navigate. Kitsilano beach less than a mile away.
Disliked: Toilet bowl hasn?t been cleaned along the upper rim in some time- gross black stains. There were limited kitchen utensils : no measuring cups or strainers etc. Also, the glass table and microwave had been wiped down but not dried so there were evident streaks. It looked like a hurried clean job. I was there February 27- March 4 and there was street construction right out front that was quite loud ( and I wear hearing aids.) The facility has no control over that but it did impede morning tranquility. And the construction is on to the next phase as they just tore up the sidewalk directly across the street. There?s no way to control the heat- the thermostat is located somewhere else.

Lovely place, great location.
Liked: The unit has everything we needed. It's very clean and the lighting is good. The location is excellent, close to a number of bus lines with direct access to downtown and UBC. The check-in process is seamless!
Disliked: The window shades are accordiion-fold paper, so they don't block out the light. Bring an eye mask! Also, the plug in the bathtub was broken. It would be nice to have some information about Vancouver and the Kitsilano neighborhood available.

Disliked: Nothing...all good.

Wonderful holiday - we even...
Liked: The location was great, we could walk to stores and restaurants. It was comfortable accommodation for a multigenerational family of six. The welcome basket was a nice touch. The hosts were helpful and gave me directions to the grocery store and bakery.
Disliked: We found it was a bit too warm to sleep comfortably at night.

Liked: The location was good with walking distance to restaurants etc. it had a homey feel.
Disliked: It was very noisy with heavy sewer construction taking place at our front door and beneath our window. This went on from 7 AM to 6 PM on the Friday, Saturday, and Monday of our four night stay. This also made access and parking difficult. While this was out of the control of the landlord, it should have been disclosed at the time of booking. It was not. It would have changed the value of the offering considerably.

Great location on a private...
Liked: Although the owners said they had sent us an email we did not receive one, so had to call them on our arrival which they seemed annoyed about.
Disliked: The bed was small, lumpy and creaky every time you moved it would creak

Great vacation spot.
Liked: The location in Vancouver was great. Walking distance to the beach and local shops & restaurants and very close to the bus stop for frequent buses down town.
Disliked: The apartment was a great size and well equipped. It would have been nice to have more natural light but such is the nature of its position in the house. This also meant we were sometimes disturbed by guests upstairs but this was thankfully minimal. We were however lucky to have somewhere to sit out in the sun.
