In the heart of the Georgian city of Dublin this 3-star property features traditional dècor and furnishings. It was built in the 18th century and was once part of the Earl of Clonmel's estate. As there is NO LIFT in the property all rooms are accessed by stairs only and each room with attached bathroom comes with cable TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. There is a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi is available throughout the building. Located near St Stephen's Green Albany House is a fully nonsmoking and privately owned residence. It's just a 5-minute walk from Dublin's main shopping street Grafton Street or the main entertainment district of Temple Bar. Nice hotel in good location

Liked: Location was very convenient to centre of town. Lovely big room & very comfy bed. Great breakfast for €5
Disliked: No fridge & fixed head shower. Night clubs in the street with drunken singing etc when they turned out. OK with window closed but uncomfortable in the heat.

Great place, would even better...

Liked: Great location, lovely staff.
Disliked: It was very hot, and difficult to cool the room down in the unusually hot weather. I recommend keeping the curtains closed during the day.

Dublin is one of the...

Liked: Clean room in a very nice building.The staff is super friendly and very helpful with all your needs. The breakfast room is filled with light and cleanliness.I love the French press coffee served.
Disliked: The room was on the lower ground and thus a bit too dark for my taste.In the morning, you hear the noise from the street, and the trams can easily wake you up. The continental breakfast served is somewhat limited; it would be nice to have options like scrambled eggs, for example.

Great guesthouse in a fantastic...

Liked: Loved the helpful reception. The room was really lovely, quiet and clean. Everything was beautifully maintained. Breakfast all fresh and varied. Location brilliant with trams passing the door.
Disliked: Nothing other than the fact we were only there for 2 days. Would have loved more.

Great stay, lovely hotel

Liked: Lively modern room the breakfast was delicious and a good variety very close to Iveagh Park where we were attending a gig, staff really nice
