By car: The National Indoor Arena is well served by the M5, M40, M1, M6 and is well sign-posted on all approaches. M6 Major Roadworks, Birmingham - work in progress: June - November 2004 M6 Junction 8 (M5 Interchange) - M6 Junction 5-6 (near Spagetti Junction) - A38(M) Aston Expressway The Highways Agency and Birmingham City Council will be resurfacing three areas of motorway near Birmingham - two sections of the M6 and a section of the A38(M) Aston Expressway. Work will start on 7 June and continue on the M6 until the end of November 2004. Work on the A38(M) will start in early July and be completed by September 2004. To travel to and around Birmingham, you can either use the restricted routes provided through the M6 and A38(M) roadworks or use other routes. Park and Ride Services (bus, train or metro) into the city centre are also available.
