Cache Creek Casino Resort, Brooks

Since I was visiting my sister who lives in the Bay Area, I decided to spend a little time and donate a few dollars to Cache Creek Casino. I was surprised that the casino would not accept my tribal identification card. I am a member of the Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawas of Michigan. However, I had no problem since I had my VA driver's license and my military dependent's ID card! I visited the gift shop and would have liked to have bought a souvenir of the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation - something handmade by a tribal member, but I did not see anything. There were other non-native items - jewelry, clothing, cards etc. My nephew and I had fun playing the slots, however, and had a delicious dinner before we returned to Oakland.

Overall my experience was good. I'd like to see more quater machines.

The staff are great. I have stayed there twice rooms are very clean and i can't wait to go back next week.

Well, we are not high-rollers...obviously. My husband, sis-in-law and I ( we all love to visit different casinos) went for my birthday. I thought I might get something fun for my birthday, but was told that I had to be there on my actual birthday to receive any incentive. Also, I don't spend enough evidently to get anything fun! Ok, off to the nickel slots. Not much money to spend these days, but with the tough machines and horrific dense cigarette smoke...we left early!!!! We also noticed that no one was having fun!! We don't think we'll ever be back. We're sure there's another casino that treats their guests better in a smoke free environment in these tough times!!

I came up here with the girls for a day of fun, fun, and more fun, no guys. We had a blast and next time I want to spend the night, which will be real soon.

It's a great girls get-a-way for the day. My friends and I love going to cache creek for the day just to have fun and relax
