Cambridge does not have a great selection of clubs and if you are looking for something a little less commercial then I think the Junction is one of the best places to go. It's not the classiest of venues but it does offers a variety of club nights - from drum and base, hard house to break beat. Would recommend Warning or Boomslang!!
Good for alternative music
Club decor not great

I recently went to the Shed - a theatre next door to the Junction in Cambridge - to see the comedian, Stephen K Amos. The Shed is a very small theatre, and this added an edge to the evening, as no one was safe from being picked on - my girlfriend and I didn't escape humiliation, but we survived to tell the tale. I would recommend the Shed to any Cambridge locals or visitors - the Junction frequently attracts popular comedians from all over the UK, and is well worth a visit.
Intimate atmosphere adding to the comedy thrill
