Was at Hyde Park last weekend for the o2 wireless festival.Great location, walking distance from Victoria bus station/tube. We got there pretty late so missed quite a few of the acts. Saw Robyn, she was okay but I'm not a massive fan. Fat Boy Slim was the highlight of the Festival - he was wicked, really got the crowd going. The event seemed pretty well organised, plenty of clean (yes clean) toilets, drink queues looked daunting but you soon got served! Only bad point was there were no listings anywhere of who was on where and when, so I'm sure we probably missed a few of the acts that would of been worth a watch, but for £20 a ticket to o2 customers - really shouldn't complain!

We went to Hyde Park to the O2 Wireless Festival - there didn't seem to be any obvious sign of which bands were playing in which tents and when, so we ended up spending most of the day sitting out on Hyde Park in front of the main stage enjoying the sun and the music. Robyn warmed the audience up before Hyde Park's main event of the evening - Fatboy Slim - he really knows how to get a crowd going. Superb! Queues for beer looked enormous, but they actually moved really quickly so that wasn't a problem. Plenty of toilets and food outlets available too. Hyde Park is close to Victoria train and bus stations, and there are tube stations within 5 minutes walk. Overall the day was great, and I'd recommend Hyde Park as a venue for future gigs and festivals.

On Sunday 24th June, my mates and I went to Hyde Park calling, with the headline act being Aerosmith. Despite a horribly rainy day, the event was organised superbly. 40,000 fans arrived at Hyde Park yet the queueing for entry, food and toilets was minimal. The sound in the outdoor stage was great, and Aerosmith rocked. Highly recommmend Hyde Park for gigs.
