Sit out the lingering haze from one too many rounds, indulge in affordable, comfort foods like ham and cheese omelets, eggs, burgers, fries or fried chicken, sample the eye-candy spillover from the neighborhood dance floors, or tank up for after-hours dancing here.
Open 24-7, this friendly restaurant and coffee shop servers up garden variety American diner fare and home-style entrees. The door, which pushes the California Gold-rush theme with dark, rustic wood, seems to suit the diner mood and food.
Expect some delays in service and food during the post-2 a.m. rush following club evictions. But few late-nighters seem to mind this, given the friendly wait staff, table mining and phone number exchanges that go on.
