Yang Sing
“Europe’s best Chinese restaurant”, “the best Chinese restaurant in the [UK]” – such are the glowing comments Yang Sing inspires from restaurant reviewers. But it’s not just professional eaters that love this culinary bastion of Manchester’s Chinatown. Yang Sing is the Chinese restaurant that Mancunians have been recommending to one another for over 25 years. Founded by the sons of Tim Kwan Yeung, a renowned dim sum chef in Hong Kong, in 1981 it was the first Cantonese restaurant to win The Good Food Guide’s highest accolade, the Pestle and Mortar. Today it offers a vast array of excellent exotic food in buzzy, beautifully-decorated surroundings. The deliciously fresh dim sum in particular stand out. Perfect service.
