Wax

Wax bar, just off London’s Oxford Street, is a retro-cool cavern of deep red leather, soft grey touches, dark wood and sleek marble bars. With a 3am licence, a dancefloor, cool DJs and a 5-7pm happy hour, Wax could easily see your “just one” after work turn into a long-haul drink-and-dance-fest. There’s a good choice of premium beers, wines at very reasonable prices, shooters like Jaw Breaker – a large measure of your chosen Teichenne schnapps, shaken with Tabasco sauce – and some rocking signature cocktails. Try a Long Beach Iced Tea, with cranberry instead of cola. Wax is great for groups: there’s plenty of room for dancing and a range of spaces for parties, from small booths to the whole bar which holds 75 people.
