Restaurant Group Information
Vinopolis, London’s wine tasting destination is ideally situated in the heart of Bankside, neighbouring Borough Market. Its 2.5 acres of versatile vaults and spaces provides impressive settings for all kinds of events from entertaining on a grand scale to intimate occasions. One of Vinopolis' biggest selling points is that all its rooms are blank canvases. A favourite space amongst those who have the budget and ideas to match is the lofty Mezzanine. During the Matrix Reloaded party, for example, martial arts fighters performed on the balcony all night. Another pure white area is the adjacent Art Gallery, mostly used for private parties and pop videos. Ideal for smaller parties or even as a VIP lounge is the funky new Bombay Sapphire bar, which has its own entrance. Vinopolis' biggest single space is the stunning Grand Halls where Jonathan Ross invited a few hundred friends to celebrate his 40th. Overlooking, and free with, the Halls is the atmospheric Academia, a useful dumping ground, chill out area or press room. Of course Vinopolis wouldn't Vinopolis without its fascinating Wine Odyssey Rooms, perfect for an event at the heart of this rare venue.
