Local entrepreneurs have opened an original concept restaurant in Huntersville's Birkdale Village that combines healthful, globally inspired dining with social uses of digital technology. T1 Tapas, is the first restaurant to offer patent-pending T1 Connection Booth Technology services at dining tables, making T1 Tapas a unique place to eat, drink, and connect.

T1 Tapas eat.drink.connect. brings innovation to dining by serving small-plate healthy dishes in a technology-driven atmosphere filled with digital art, electronic menus, and interactive touch screens. Each T1 Connection Booth contains an electronic touch surface incorporated into the table where interactive menus provide customers with detailed information about food, drinks, and pricing.

Dishes served at T1 Tapas incorporate ingredients that are locally grown, seasonal, sustainable, and organic whenever possible. The restaurant uses its electronic technology to share information about the sources of its foods with diners. Taking cues from traditional Spanish tapas, the dishes at T1 Tapas are served in smaller-than meal-size portions so that diners can select a variety of foods to round out a full dining experience. But at T1 Tapas dishes are based on flavor profiles from around the world, from Caribbean to Mediterranean, Latin American to Asian. A full bar includes 16 imported and micro beers on tap, an extensive wine list available by the glass as well as bottle, and a martini menu that ranges from classic to trend-setting.
