Trowbridge’s Red or White is an innovative combination of independent off-licence, restaurant and wine lounge. A pair of dining rooms serve an ambitious Modern European menu of grazing platters (dinner only) followed by pan-seared duck breast on leek and bacon potato cake and Madeira jus. Perhaps the best but is you get to choose from the 600+ wines in the shop, paying a nominal £2.50 corkage. So, if you’re up for finally gambling on those wines you’ve been curious about, you know where to go.

Red Or White's private annexe works as a function room and colourful lounge for up 30 people. The cellar is a slightly bigger event space. Again, you choose your wine in the shop and pay just £2.50 corkage. Strong selection of buffet menus from £9.50 per person. Some seriously good organic wines.
