Prairie's Edge

Lovely surroundings outside as always. I've been there before under different management. When there is a crowd, it sounds like a high school cafeteria. There was no table menu anywhere listing the buffet items, so you could make your selection mentally. Your phone isn't listed - OK, but even 411 didn't have your phone number. I went online to book a table for 10. My family was overall disappointed. Next year hot dogs at Lockport.

Liked: Staff were very friendly. Wished us a Happy Mother's Day.
Disliked: Food was cold to lukewarm. The warming trays did not do their job. The food did not have covers to keep the heat in. Food labels would have been nice to identify some of the dishes ie. what kind of fish - the waitress said Char or Pickerel. Any green salads?
