Pearlcatchers, Lights, Camera, Action!
Think you can do better than Hollywood heroes. Well, here’s your chance. Armed with a video camera, themed costumes and of course a clapper board, teams are let loose to record their own 3-minute masterpiece.
The title could be related to your business or simply a bit of fun. The teams have to script, design, cast and act out their video – ready for everyone to watch and vote on. There is so much to do that everyone will find something to suit their skills, from creating sound effects, to directing the action or coordinating the fight scene.
Further spice can be added by setting team challenges at any point during the game, which will earn each film crew the chance to ‘purchase’ a choice of additional props, special effects or support staff.
The event is finished off with a Pearlcatcher spoof awards ceremony – the DAFTA’s, with categories such as Most Promising Actor or Best Out-take.
