As choices for the executive rendezvous go, the City's Painter's Hall is about as plush as they come. Grand and regal, it has three rooms - each varying in style and size - for meetings, dinners and other business functions, collectively catering for 240 people standing to 294 seated. The large Livery Hall, home to a fine collection of Royal portraits from the late 17th century, holds receptions of up to 250 guests or a lunch or dinner for 180. As a venue for pre-dinner drinks or for a smaller lunch or dinner party, the Court Room is a wise choice. Meanwhile the Painted Chamber offers an intimate setting for business meetings or small lunches.
