New Samsi
Manchester’s New Samsi is a well established restaurant widely agreed to serve “the best Japanese food in the North West”, to quote the Manchester Metro. The basement is home to Samsi Express, a modern space designed for casual eating, and a colourful Japanese supermarket. Upstairs, traditional dugout style seating lends itself to slightly more formal dining. Here an exciting menu lists a huge range of dishes from every corner of Japan. The teriyaki dishes are highly recommended; the sushi fabulous. New dishes are frequently introduced. A weakening of the Japanese Yen has kept prices low, making the New Samsi experience excellent value. You'll find the original Samsi in Cheshire.
New Samsi runs a buffet instead of the a la carte menu on Sunday lunch times.
