This fantastic baroque-influenced restaurant is a dining experience not to be missed! Not for the faint-hearted, Negresco - located in Deansgate, Manchester - is a kooky affair with kinky neo-gothic, Kubrick-esque décor. Named after an infamous historic hotel in the south of France, Negresco serves superb Italian/French cuisine. The stylish interior - featuring red lanterns, candlelit banquettes, moody black walls and taxidermy – has a naughty-private-members-club vibe, and is a memorable setting for dates and private dinner parties. We love the Riviera-style Polpette pizza – with pork and beef meatballs and parmesan cheese; and the chargrilled 8oz Entrecote steak. The plush bar at Negresco is ideal for pre/post dinner cocktails, we recommend the house absinthe.
