Napa 29 is a hidden treasure! Imagine a manplaying guitar singing a jazz rendition of a Boz Scaggs tune "LowDown" while lazy onlookers settle into low back chairs unwinding while thechattier ones are seen socializing at the bar. Napa29 features Jazz every 1st and 3rd Saturday; if not, a solo acoustic guitarist named Dave Weaver who is simply amazing and his music complements the warm ambience and delightful dcor of the restaurant.

The extensive wine list is sure to please even the most sophisticated palate. The Cakebread Chardonnay is perfectly balanced, and other patrons rave about the Stoli Doli pineapple infused vodka martini.

Appetizers are so good they shouldn't be overlooked. SautedDungeness Crab Cakes are so tender and moist, served with a Remoulade Sauce. Ahi Tuna Tartar isthe best quality, and the wasabi cream and sweet soy drizzle aretantalizing. The Caramelized Sea Scallops is a definite favoritepolenta and a sage caper butter sauce.

Entrees warrant the cost as the daily Surf & Turf "special" offers a most tenderrib eye paired with a light sea bass in a buttery sauce. The Tenderloin Filet is simply delectable. Napa 29 even turns a simple side of Sauted Spinach with garlic into a relishing treat.
