Masa
Paula and Didar Dalkic’s gutsy conversion of a Wesleyan Chapel into a glamorous fine dining restaurant and wine bar needs to seen to be believed. The uplifting sense of bright space and calm remains, while much of the impressive original features have been gently restored. True vantage points, restaurant tables are boxed pews overlooking the bar. Great care has also gone into the menu, the evening a la carte typically serving beautiful plates of Derbyshire pork and caramelised apples, and roast salmon on a blanquette of coco beans, with a thyme veloute.
