Haley's Restaurant
The Haley's Yorkshire welcome is just what's needed after a long day or weary journey. This charmingly intimate restaurant is set in a gentleman's private house hotel in Headingly, one of Leeds conservation areas. Filled with fine antiques, plush furnishings and fresh flowers, Haley's is all about the semi-formal country house atmosphere, where (typically) businesspeople take as much time as they're inclined to over meal. Pick of the imaginative Modern British a la carte menu are the scallops with beetroot and red fruit puree, seabass with coriander and basil gnocchi, and tonka bean souffle with lavender ice cream. Their set menu of £35 for three course is a wonderful value. Faultless service.
