For nearly thirty years, this family-run restaurant has been the place that local business people and residents of Mayfair return to again and again. A cozy, intimate atmosphere prevails in the traditionally decorated dining room -- that is, if you get past the friendly long bar where snacks are served. The menu is Italian-influenced, with very good pastas and dishes like Saltimbocca alla Romana, but some of Fino's most popular dishes are classics like hot salt beef or roast fore-ribs of Scotch beef. The international wine list is also Italian-influenced, delightfully so. Fino's is not trendy - just very, very good.
